First ever GR SPACE in the U.S. provides a new destination for the street photography community in NYC
PARSIPPANY, New Jersey, October 29, 2026 — Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation today announced plans to open GR SPACE New York City, a new photography-focused destination dedicated to the RICOH GR community and the culture of street photography.
The new space is scheduled to open in winter of 2027 and is being developed to deliver more than a traditional retail environment. It will provide photographers with a place to experience RICOH GR cameras, learn from other photographers, participate in educational programs, view inspiring photographic work and connect with a community that shares a passion for snapshot photography.
The launch of the space marks a major growth milestone for the company and demonstrates its commitment to enriching the photography experience and inspiring creativity among its users.
At the heart of the concept is a simple idea: create a home for the GR community in one of the world’s greatest cities for street photography.

GR SPACE New York City follows in the footsteps of GR Spaces in Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Brisbane and the most recent announcement of Seoul, Korea.
